Welcome to the Masterlinq new account setup guide. Once you have created your login and shop profile, please follow the outlined steps to complete your setup.
Shopify Credentials & Settings
Masterlinq will be installed as a "custom app" on your Shopify website. This is done by creating the app in your admin, selecting the required permissions, and entering the provided authorization token into your Masterlinq settings. For a step by step guide on how to setup a custom app, please reference the guide below.
Once your credentials are entered, please reference our Shopify Settings setup help.
POS System
Select your POS system and configure your settings. Currently, Masterlinq supports Lightspeed, Shopify POS, and Ascend. For Ascend setup, please contact support to finish the setup.
QBP Settings
The QBP settings page is where you will enter your shop specific account information. Please note that this is note required for the free trial (limited to 100 Shopify listings), but QBP API3 is required to use their data on paid plans.
Reference the QBP Settings page for setup help.
HLC Settings
If available, please enter your HLC API token. This token is required to utilize HLC data on all paid plans. View HLC Settings setup help here.
Inventory Settings
After you have configured all of the settings above, you are now ready to enable supplier feeds and start building your Shopify product feed.
First, visit the inventory settings page to toggle on the suppliers you wish to sync with. This will enable the inventory qty from their available warehouses and be used for order processing.
After you have enabled at least one supplier, you can turn on brands via the Shopify Feed tab. On the main menu, go to Catalog > Shopify Feed to view the brands page. Toggling on/off a brand will enable/disable all skus in that brand.
For testing purposes, we recommend adding a small amount of skus instead of an entire brand. Go to Catalog > Masterlinq Products and find the products you wish to test. If you are utilizing inclusion mode (enabled by default), you can select the SKU you wish to list and select "Add To Inclusion List" under the Bulk Edit options on the top right.
If you have any further questions on setting up your account, please contact support to schedule onboarding help.
