The HLC Settings page allows you to configure your connection with HLC and set up the preferred method for processing orders. Below is a description of the available settings and how they affect your HLC integration.
1. API Token
To establish a successful connection between Masterlinq and HLC, you must enter your HLC API Token.
Required for Connection: The API Token provided by HLC must be entered for any HLC connection requests to work. Without this token, integration will not be possible.
2. Order Processing Method
This setting gives you two options for handling drop ship orders:
a. Cart Creation and Manual Submission
Process: This method will generate a cart for your order, with items pre-filled. Once the cart is created, you will need to finish the checkout process manually.
Order Number and PO Matching: If your purchase order (PO) matches the order number, tracking information will be automatically matched and posted to your Shopify store once the fulfillment process is complete.
b. Item Submission for Fulfillment
Process: When this option is selected, items are sent directly to HLC for fulfillment without any intervention required from your side. The items will be shipped automatically, and once tracking information is available, it will be posted directly to your Shopify store.
Time Delay: You can add a time delay (in minutes) before the order is submitted for processing. This gives your staff time to review, cancel, or edit the orders if necessary. The delay only applies to the item submission method and does not affect the cart creation process.
3. Cart Creation Limitations
Please note that Masterlinq is currently unable to create carts with pre-filled order numbers and customer information in the same way as services like QBP.
Manual Submission Option: If needed, you can submit the order for immediate processing, and all customer information will be automatically included in the order submission to HLC.
